Career Summary
Daily tasks consist of radio dispatching drivers in a donation pickup service company.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers; must have strong customer service skills.
- Radio dispatch 20+ drivers.
- Identify and resolve route problems.
- Resolve scheduling issues with our customer service department.
- Maintain and organize the day’s routes to keep drivers moving in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- 2-3 years of dispatching experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to problem solve / quick decision making.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Successful completion of on-the-job training.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods standing and working on cash register or related equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- May need to work weekends and some holidays.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
