Career Summary
The Furniture Truck Helper will be picking up furniture from customer’s homes or businesses and dropping it off at different store locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading the truck.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Help drivers navigate to each destination on schedule
- Work with the driver to fill logs and reports of each delivery for an accurate record of what has been completed.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience driving-must be at least 23 years old (for insurance purposes)
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Successful completion of on-the-job training.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
